kgb’s 542542 profiled in Metro newspaper

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

Commuters this morning woke up to a profile of the kgb 542542 service in Metro newspaper.

The article, also on their website, describes kgb’s 542542 as:

“a texting service that will answer any question you may need to ask — from weather news, to statistics to bet-settling facts like, “Who sold more records, the Rolling Stones or Led Zeppelin?” How do they do it? Specially trained KGB agents are on the other end to find the answers you’re looking for.”

542542 in the press!

kgb’s 542542 service got a great write-up in the Las Vegas Review Journal yesterday.

Al Gibes, “The Online Guy” who wrote the article seems to like both our service and our website:

“The KGB.com home page has a scrolling list of actual questions coming to the service and agent answers. They run the gamut from “How do you make a mai tai?” to “Will you go to the prom with me?” Open-ended questions like the prom request are answered with relationship tips and how to find limousine companies. It’s quite entertaining to watch the Q-and-A session on the site.”
